Lord there are too many things

 going round in my  mind

I give them to you

and leave the past behind

Too many hurts

and too much pain

I don’t want to remember

I must start new again

To enjoy my last years

being happy and free

Not being the person

I used to be

I want to look forward

to good things in you

  I don’t want the past

Spoiling my view

Lord I give you my life

for you to renew

For you know what’s best
