I really want someone to say “I love”

But a man who says I love Jesus first

Then I will know it is real love

That it is not just something rehearsed

I will know he has a heart like Jesus

That he means it when he says “I love you”

I will know he would never hurt me

I will see Jesus on full view

I will see the light in his eyes

I will know I was safe with him

I will place my heart in his hands

I would thank the Lord for giving me him!
