THEY STILL FEEL YOU KNOW

Although our faces are etched with age

And we may soon turn the final page

We have aches and pains that were not there before

And our hearing is getting poor

BUT WE STILL FEEL YOU KNOW

Maybe our hair is snowy white

And we are losing a little sight

The stairs are getting hard to climb

Things are slipping past our minds

BUT WE STILL FEEL YOU KNOW

We may take too long to brush our hair

To be all alone can make us scared

Getting dressed can become a chore

Trying to write is quite a bore

BUT WE STILL FEEL YOU KNOW

So if you have someone at the end of their years

Don’t leave them to shed their lonely tears

Hug them and kiss them and tell them you care

Let them know you will always be there

THEY STILL FEEL YOU KNOW
