THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE!

I believed them when they said “I love you”

Then later found out that it was not true

It was really all about them

It was the things that I could do

They never really thought about me

It was all about pleasing self

It was all about them feeling good

My heart was put upon a shelf

My heart was always broken

They found another and walked away

The REAL words “I love you” left unspoken

They were so selfish they could not stay

I believed them when they said “I love you”

How I wish it had been the truth

Where are those who love like Jesus

I wish I had known them in my youth

I still believe to this day

That there is someone “special” just let it be

I still pray please Jesus send them

That special someone just for me!
